About 4 hours flight and i’m here in Portugal in Lisboa ! We rent a flat from portuguese Ana which take place in Martin Moniz. Small and cosy open room with kitchen, bathroom and cute little window it’s 2 minutes from centrum. Lisboa is on hill so you have to put cosy shoes and prepare for long walk where you can find thinly alley, restaurants, graphitic on the walls, yellow tram especially the Carreira 28 which you have to go up because it’s one of the famous and touristic thing that is worth to see it. Apart from that you can listen fado it’s mean sad song and the icon of this song was Amalia Rodriguez everyone in Lisboa know her famous sing and voice. In this place people are kind and nice and very helpfull. The food is not so good as in Poland, they don’t flavour meal as we do it, even sweets taste differently. But what you have to try is cookie Pasteis da nata it’s like french pie with something nearly to pudding inside and what i was surprised they saute chestnut it taste little sweet but i think better are nuts. The most popular in Lisboa is fish in all restaurant they serve it and mostly dark meat and eggs in different shape. In november climate it depends of the day, once was raining and rest days was sunny and windy so i suggest to takes warm jumper, scarf and jacket. Don’t take any thin clothes because sometimes you can feel cold wind. About alcohol they have many wine cheap and expensive it depends of your pocket, exactly it refer food too. I think they have too high price of meal which don’t taste amazing as you can think. So Lisboa have to side : one of them is Baixa, Chiado & Barrio Alto, Alfama, Graca, Mouraria old town with atmosphere of Lisboa, insane architecture, old castle, interesting tile with colourful design, cobblestone every where even on curbside and precipitous highways. If you don’t want go for a walk you can take metro, tuk tuk, taxi, bus or train, everything is close and they have great map of transport! The best way to travel with public transport is buy a card for 24 h and you can use it for all these transport even for trip on the ship ! The second side is Belem & Ajuda modern buildings, museum, oceanarium, clean, straight ways. Both sides are beautiful but in my opinion the oldest is the best, you can feel portugal climate of this beautiful country and as indeed see the real history. All palce have it’s own magic and if you want make out you should visit where it was begins and where it was the end:)
