Couple days in Reading / Wallingford

Welcome adventure..! This time Great Britain - Reading / Wallingford and piece of England.

We had plane 10 march about 6:10 am from Wrocław to Luton airport. Only 1,5 hour flight not so long. To place where we wanna stay (Reading) was about 1,5 hour way from airport. So another long way to flat. I was really surprised weather because it was better than Poland and i feel spring in the air. Everything was green and many days was sunny.

Okey so what can i say about Reading? It’s a town in Great Britain, ceremonial county Berkshire. There is also River Thames. As you know you can find there great shop : Primark, TK maxx, The Oracle, Sports Direct, Hollister CO., GANT, Asda Superstore and etc. Besides i recommend you Nero, they have amazing coffee! I think Reading is great place to stay because it’s good location. From Reading to Paddington Station you have about 30 minutes train or metro. As you see it’s near London! This place have many attractions eg. Minister Church of ST Mary the Virgin and it looks amazing! You can also visit Marks and Spencer, Reading Abbey Ruins, Greyfriars Church, Wellington Country Park, Reading Museum, clubs and bars. I have to say that i was first time in cosmo restaurant! They offer amazing menu. You have to book the table before you come because this place is so popular and many people eat there. But sometimes they have free table so even you didn’t reserved the table they have some. The best thing about this place is that you don’t receive menu. You have to take plate and go for your meal. I mean they have different chief in state who prepare meals and you have to only come and choose which one you want. What is more you pay for only entrance, so you can eat even 3 plate in one price or more if you are really hungry. You can find there really different food, crispy duck, prawn, sushi, salad , noodles, some chinese food and some sweets, drinks and you can mix everything what you like or what you want to try! It’s worth to go there!

What about Wallingford ? It’s a town on the River Thames in Oxfordshire. The nearest railway station is in Cholsey and the area is well served by buses from Reading and most local towns. From reading it’s about 30 minutes by car. You can find there Castle Gardens and Meadows explore the site of one of England’s strongest and most important castles, crumbling castle ruins, River Thames, Wallingford Museum. The best way to find out the historic of this place is go for a walk and discover historic churches, important streets and industries.
