Winter !

Cold weather, fresh air, snow and huge mountain. It’s time when everybody go for holiday so do I.

How to prepare for journey?! What kind of clothes you need ? And the most important thing it’s flexible and well-maintained equipment. A few days before mountain you need to prepare your body. I recommend you gym or exercises at home.

Clothes:

I think it’s very important to take thermal under-layers it’s really useful keep warm of your body and you don’t freeze during skiing (fleece jacket, ski pants) and jacket or ski suit it depends what you prefer to wearing. Don’t forget about (hats, gloves, socks and scarf). Even if you are beginner you need this clothes. I’m skiing for couple years so I don’t have to buy anything. Another point is equipment. You can rent in the place where you will be skiing or buy if you love this sport and you are sure it wasn’t adventure for one season. (ski boots, goggles, ski poles, bindings, skis or snowboards).

Zieleniec - Duszniki Zdrój / Cerna Hora - Janske Lazne / Czarna góra

Me and my friends go to Kudowa Zdrój where we stay at flat our friend for couple days. Incredible long way for me and my knees, really about five hours on the way it was disaster! We arrive in the evening so we was tired but not enough to sit and talk in the kitchen and go to restaurant for quick supper and hot tea! :)

We started our first day in Zieleniec, twenty minutes from our flat in Kudowa so really close. I have to say that I was a little bit scared my skiing but it wasn’t so bad as I thought. We buy ski pass for 4 hours. I have always the same problem with my ski boots because I’m not strong and that’s why I need help with bindings. Besides I enjoy all day! The weather was so nice about - 6 degree and small mist. Many people on ski slope and kids. They don’t scared anything. I was so impressed how fast they ski or make turns!

Next day we try wake up early but my friends previously drink too much and It was huge challenge for them. In this time the way to ski slope was longer about 1 hour from flat because we go to Cerna Hora - Janske Lazne. There was harder for me and my skills but I was try do my best and enjoy wonderful view and sunny day ! I couldn’t imagine beautiful place as there ! In the meantime I was skiing on easy trails but my friend takes me to difficult trail and I didn’t expect that I’m really not so bad as I think..:) It was such a great 4 hours on the slope! Then we go to shopping and buy some Czech chocolate (studentska), alcohol and some popular Czech kofola It’s something like coca cola. Another day and we didn’t go out yet. So we decided to visit some restaurant in Kudowa eat something good, drink hot wine and check what kind of club there are. We found Kosmiczna club where people was in different age even 10 years! Music was there like from old movie. It was place when you can stay and drink, listen music, dance and talk even if you come with child. Atmosphere was there really friendly and different like usually clubs.

So last day on slope in Czarna Góra wasn’t excited ice on slope, mogul, colder and everywhere people !! many of people. My friends enjoy time on ski slope during I was eat and drink hot tea waiting for them. After that my friends packed equipment and we back to Kudowa and from there we go for long back way. I have to say that our holiday was fantastic, full of fall on slope, laugh and funny moments. It’s wonderful to have friends and spend crazy time with them on vacation! I hope so that you have someone who can spend time with you and go everywhere!
